Happy Town Coffee and Kitchen is a bright, pretty spot along Zabarte Road

If you live in this part of Quezon City, then you know that it has a shortage of charming little cafes and restaurants that invite you to just hang out and have a cup of coffee and a good meal, or maybe even spend an afternoon working. Happy Town Coffee and Kitchen has been filling this gap when it had its soft opening in May and its formal opening this month. Its primary attraction is its coffee, which is sourced from Plain Sight Coffee Roasters, but you’ll be sure to fall in love with its homey interior, which makes it stand out from many establishments along Zabarte Road.

At the back of the restaurant is a cabinet that contains books, magazines, and various board games. We promptly picked up Exploding Kittens so we can play while waiting for our order.

Our food didn’t take too long to come out. We ordered tocino (P159), chicken quesadilla (P119), peach iced tea (P100), and wintermelon iced tea (P100). Happy Town seems to good at serving up simple, no-frills food that’s familiar and tasty, and we’re looking forward to sampling their pasta and sandwiches too.

We can imagine it being popular with younger people in the area and with the students of the nearby schools. Happy Town is a nice little haven with good food and drinks, so we’re definitely rooting for it to succeed and get a lot more love.
